The Tattoo Stick is a device that allows you to connect to the internet at up to 3.6 Mbps even while you’re on the go. Just connect the device to any available USB port on your netbook, notebook or desktop computer.

You can also send/receive SMS and make instant calls to your family and friends. Just plug in your Tattoo Broadband Stick into your netbook, notebook, or desktop and use the user interface to access these features.

2. What freebies do I get when I buy the Tattoo Prepaid Stick?

All USB sticks issued by Globe are certified by the manufacturer and come with a 7-day replacement and 1-year repair warranty. Possible reasons why your unit may not work as expected are the ff:

a. Incorrect or incomplete installation to your laptop

b. Factory Defect

c. Mishandling of device causing damage to it i.e. subjecting it to water, intense temperature, pressure and other types of abuse.

13. If my USB stick is found to be defective, what are my options?

Within 7 days from date of purchase:

Unit will be replaced with a new one at the Business Center at no charge. If stocks are not available, the subscriber may pick-up the device in 3 working days.

After 7 days upon purchase but within 1-Year Warranty:

Unit will be re-flashed or a new unit will be issued if reflashing does not solve the problem. This will be ready for pick-up/issued in 7 working days for NCR and 9-working days at the Business Center or GPS at no charge.

Beyond 1-Year Warranty

Subscriber may proceed to authorized service centers. Globe Business Centers may also entertain subscriber’s request but corresponding fees and turn-around-time will apply. If the unit cannot be repaired, subscriber will be advised to purchase a new unit.

2. What is the delivery process?

The BPI 160th Commemorative Smart Bro Plug-It will be delivered for free to subscribers within the agreed Service Level of Agreement (SLA). SLA on the delivery:

a. NCR – 5 working days

b. Luzon – 6 working days

c. VisMin – 7 working days

NOTE: There will be no processing of orders during weekends and holidays. For orders received on weekends and holidays, Smart shall process the order on the next working day.

Free delivery will be c/o designated Smart courier with a maximum of three delivery attempts. Charging to subscriber will take effect on the fourth attempt.

Prior to fourth attempt to deliver, the courier shall initiate a call to the subscriber to confirm address and inform the same on the amount to be charged due to delivery efforts.

Courier shall issue an official receipt to subscriber in exchange for the amount collected.

NOTE: Sales and replacement transactions shall be accommodated based on locations included in the list of delivery areas.

3. How do I avail of the 120 or 240 internet surfing hours? Is there a minimum load requirement?

The BPI 160th Commemorative Smart Bro Plug-It comes with 120 or 240 surfing free-hours. These are pre-load values which can be used for browsing upon activation. To enjoy the pre-load value hours, subscribers should maintain P1.00 airtime load.

4. Will the free 120 or 240 internet surfing hours expire if I don’t avail of it right away?

The free 120 internet surfing shall expire 5 days from the first use. While the free 240 internet surfing shall expire 10 days from the first use.

5. Can I use the BPI 160th Commemorative Smart Bro Plug-It when I am abroad?

The BPI 160th Commemorative Smart Bro Plug-It can be used only in the Philippines.

6. What are the conditions for the free access using the BPI 160th Commemorative Smart Bro Plug-It?

The subscriber should maintain a P1.00 load to access the free sites. Subscriber must also ensure that his/her automatic internet updates are disabled to avoid data charging.

If you click on Unlisurf 50, the charge will be Php 50. You must maintain Php 1.00 to use the service.

22. I am an existing Smart Bro prepaid subscriber. If I insert my SIM on the Power Plug-it will I be able to call?

Yes, you will be able to call.

23. Will I be able to send a business card on the plug-it?

No. Business card is not enabled in the Power Plug-it.

24. Does this mean that when the connection timer appears, I will already be charged with the Php 10?
